All we have to do at this time is turn on the news, check a social media feed, or listen to a prophet to know that we are living in turbulent times. Times when our nation and the nations are unstable, evil and wickedness are increasing, and every day seems worse than the one before, according to the news. In the midst of such shaking, the only stable thing is the One True God and His Word. All else will fail. Our human wisdom will fail, our planning and prepping will fail, and our religion will fail.
In unstable times, we need the stability of the Word to saturate our minds and atmospheres. A few months ago the Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart to write out Psalm 121 on a notecard and place it on the dashboard of my car. Every time I left my house I am prompted to decree these life-protecting words over myself. We are living in days that are not business as usual. Unforeseen dangers are lurking, but God knows the path we should take. It could be taking an alternate route to work, not going into a store, or trusting the Lord when we get stuck in traffic. At every turn, we can know He is protecting us from unseen evil, so safely, we leave our house, and safely, we will return.Â
I encourage you to spend some time reading and praying this Psalm this weekend. Ask the Holy Spirit if you need this weapon of protection in your car, in your child’s backpack as they head to school, or in your purse or briefcase. Walk your property lines around your home and decree these words along with Psalm 91. We are in serious times, and the life-giving Word is one of our most effective weapons of protection.Â
Psalm 121:1-8, TPT
1-2 I look up to the mountains and hills, longing for God’s help.
But then I realize that our true help and protection
is only from the Lord,
our Creator who made the heavens and the earth.
3 He will guard and guide me, never letting me stumble or fall.
God is my keeper; he will never forget nor ignore me.
4 He will never slumber nor sleep;
he is the Guardian-God for his people, Israel.
5 YAHWEH himself will watch over you;
he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence.
6 He’s protecting you from all danger both day and night.
7 He will keep you from every form of evil or calamity
as he continuously watches over you.
8 You will be guarded by God himself.
You will be safe when you leave your home,
and safely you will return.
He will protect you now,
and he’ll protect you forevermore!
Blessings,Â

Thank you! I love everything that you put out. Your class at Moringa Tree was so enlightening for me! I will never study the Bible the same way again!
Brandi I’m starting a study of John. Do you have any material that might be helpful as I study with a group of ladies? I am not the moderator but am interested in digging into the Hebraic roots as I work my way through the book.
