Today is our first day going through the One Year Bible! I am excited to see what the Holy Spirit is going to reveal to all of us as we read! Even if you are not reading along, you can still learn throughout this year through the teachings and lessons. Today, we will examine the first phrase of the Bible, "In the beginning" (Genesis 1:1). There is much hidden beneath the surface of this phrase when we look at the Hebrew alphabet. We will examine how this phrase relates to Matthew 1, Psalm 1, and Proverbs 1, all from the first day’s reading.
If you are new to the Hebrew alphabet, do not worry! Whenever we learn something new, it takes practice, and you will get plenty of practice recognizing the letters.
