From the beginning, before Man and Woman were created, the Father had a plan of redemption. Revelation 13:8 says Jesus is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (KJV). As Elohim was breathing the breath of life into the dust He had just fashioned and formed, He knew the breath of His Spirit would be needed to bring them to life again. The fall did not take God off guard. How do we know? Not only are their Scriptures revealing this truth, but mysteries are veiled in the original Hebrew text in the Garden story.
Many of us probably already know the reference to Jesus in Genesis 3:15.
I will put animosity between you and the woman, and between your descendant and her descendant; he will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel (CJB).
But did you know that the cross and redemption plan is hidden by the position of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil? And when Man and Woman covered themselves with fig leaves, it was a picture of salvation and redemption?
