Psalm 51 is one of the main Psalms of repentance. It is the cry of King David when he is confronted by Nathan, the prophet, concerning his adultery with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband, Uriah (2 Samuel 12). David’s cry to the Lord is for a clean heart and a steadfast spirit (51:10). What does it mean to have a clean heart and a steadfast Spirit? How does it take the work of the full Trinity to accomplish this in us? To answer these questions, I have written a study for you to go through in this repentance season on Psalm 51:10. May God bless you during this season with revelation in His Word as you come before Him, our King that is in the Field!
Blessings,
