The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him,
The spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The spirit of counsel and strength,
The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
Isaiah 11:2, NASB
Isaiah 11:1-5 is a passage of Scripture the Holy Spirit has referred me back to often over the years. It is one I speak and pray over myself and others. This passage describes the Holy Spirit's manifestation upon Jesus and what is available to us as His disciples. Walking in the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit has always been necessary to overcome the darkness and to walk in the manifestations of the Kingdom. But as we have shifted into 5784, it is vital. We need His wisdom, instruction, and strength because we cannot walk through the shakings upon the earth without His direction. We need to look like Jesus to reach a world that is covered in deep darkness (Isaiah 60:2). It is the Holy Spirit that gives us the ability to be light.
The past few days, I have been led back to Isaiah 11 as I read Revelations 4. In Revelations 4:5, there is a reference to the 7 Spirits of God that are in the throne room. These 7 Spirits of God are the ones that are mentioned in Isaiah 11:2. As I was reading and listening, I felt the nudge to begin to ask for a greater revelation of these seven Spirits. What are they? How do they help me live out the Kingdom? What benefit do they want to impart for this time we are in? Then I sensed this nudge was not only for me, but I needed to share what He was saying.
Over the next few weeks, I will break down and share about these seven Spirits. In today’s video, I will share an introduction to Isaiah 11:2 as well as details about the Spirit of Wisdom.
