A Daily Morning Prayer

Today, Father, as I rise...

There are seasons in my life when the Lord gives me very specific verses to pray. These passages contain exactly what my soul needs to mature and be transformed more into my true self and original identity. The passages the Holy Spirit highlights are ones that specifically target thought patterns He is dealing with in my heart.

This past week, I was led to read and meditate on 1 Peter 1 and Colossians 3 in the Complete Jewish Bible. As I sat with these chapters, a daily morning prayer emerged that I know I am to be praying during this season. Today, I am sharing this prayer. May we continue to grow up into the mature sons and daughters He is calling us to become for such a time as this!
